Teaching and Assisting In Schools

We’d love for you to join our mission to support education in schools with limited resources. We’re looking for volunteers like you who can help out with teaching aids and share their knowledge with our teachers. Together, we can make a real difference and inspire the next generation. We welcome volunteers to help with all sorts of subjects, including Mathematics, Science, Geography, Social Science, History, Business Education, Art, Music, and English. We need volunteers at Nursery, Primary, and Secondary schools. You’ll start by shadowing or assisting the local teacher, but once you get to know the school and the curriculum, you’ll have the chance to teach on your own. Volunteers should be flexible and willing to help with various tasks, like helping children with homework, organizing games and activities, cleaning classrooms, and assisting teachers with administrative duties. You don’t need prior teaching experience or formal teacher training to volunteer in Ghana. You can tailor your level of involvement in the classroom to your skills and interests. The most important thing is to be willing to share and be proactive. We believe that, together, we can inspire and uplift the future leaders of Ghana!
