I still think about my incredible life-changing experience regularly. It has been four years since I spent a month volunteering in the village of Domeabra with Solutions for Life Initiative-Ghana and. I learned so much about the people and culture of Ghana during my time in Domeabra, made some amazing connections, and thankfully helped improve the lives of some children along the way; not to mention the wonderful support I was given during my time there. Sally (and her husband Nana) were always there to help me with anything I needed, even welcoming me into their home on the weekends so I could visit and explore the larger city of Kumasi. My host mother, Aunty Ama, and Domeabra villagers were eager to assist me in any way they could. All around it was an incredible, life-changing experience!
